Winter Relief Campaign: Distributing Warmth and Meals
The Bitter Cold of Winter When winter sets in, temperatures in northern urban regions plummet to single digits. For those sleeping on pavements, under flyovers, and in temporary slums, the cold is not just uncomfortable—it is life-threatening.
Our Mobilized Night Patrols Throughout December and January, our volunteers assemble at midnight to run our **Warmth and Shelter Campaign**. We focus our efforts on areas with high concentrations of homeless workers and marginalized families.
During our drives:
- We distribute thick, high-quality blankets that offer real insulation.
- We hand out woolen caps, socks, and gloves, particularly to children and the elderly.
- We serve piping hot, freshly cooked lentil soup and rice to provide immediate caloric warmth.
